Jane King is a descendent of John
Bunyan (who wrote "Pilgrim's Progress" and the words to the hymn
"to be a pilgrim"). Here is how they are related: Jane's parents were James King and Ann Baker (married 1864). Ann Baker's parents were William Baker and Ann Duckett (married 1819). William Baker's parents were Richard Baker and Mary Wall (married 1778). Mary Wall's parents were Jonathan Wall and Mary Brown (married 1752). Mary Brown's parents were William Brown and Mary Reynolds. William Brown's parents were William Brown and Sarah Bunyon (married in Bedford in 1686. Son William born in Bedford and christened in Wedmore in 1687.) Sarah Bunyon's parents were John Bunyon and Elizabeth ?, his second wife (married in 1659). Sarah had a brother, Joseph who was born in 1672. John Bunyon was in prison between 1660 and 1672, so we can presume Sarah was born around 1660.
